Set in 50 acres of parkland, Twycross Zoo is known throughout the world for its apes and monkeys. This conservation centre breeds endangered species, such as Gorillas, Chimpanzees, Bonobos, Monkeys and Parrots. A hardy perennial for the kids, not to mention their parents, since it's opening in 1963. LOADS of primates plus a wide range of other animals including elephants, snow leopards, birds and reptiles. There are baby changing facilities and rides for the kids too.
